Earthquakes
Looked at the earthquake activity today June 19, 2008 throughout the world...amazing how many there were...of course most were minor and deep enough that we won't hear about it on our News Channels.Here is a few on the list I saw and the Magnitude of the Quake:

5.0 in Indonesia
4.7 Phillipines
4.3 Southwest Sakha Russia
4.3 Eastern Sichuan,
China4.0
East Coast of Kamchatka (not sure where this is)
4.0 Central Alaska

3.7 Dodecanese Islands,Greece
3.6 Puerto Rico
3.6 Central Turkey
3.6 Northern Algeria
3.4 Tajikistan
3.3 Central Kazakhstan
3.3 Central Alaska
3.2 Aegean Sea

3.1 Cyprus
3.1 Baja California/Mexico

This is just a few of the places that had earthquakes today. As this is one of the things that happens in Revelations during the Judgements on earth I found this interesting that there are so many earthquakes happening around the world. Not sure which ones - if any - caused any damage but there are people who keep track of these things, just like they do the storms of tornadoes, hail, hurricanes and cyclones. Our birthing pains seem to be growing. Just wanted to share this with all.

A Thousand Years with Christ our King

What an awesome day this will be! Imagine, you've overcome the evil one, you walked faithfully with your Lord, you shared GOD with others, you obeyed the 10 Commandments and laws and did everything right....your going to live with Christ in His kingdom now for 1,000 years.

A 1,000 years of peace, beauty, joy, happiness, where there are No wars, No sickness, No hatred, No racism, No murder, No stealing, No coveting others things, and we will share in this kingdom with Christ all the good stuff HE wants to give us.

Revelation 20: 4-6 "I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of GOD. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of GOD and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years."

(The mark of the beast is mentioned here...these who are resurrected in the 1st resurrection are Blessed because they Did Not take the mark of the beast. No one knows for sure what this Mark on the forehead or hand will look like. Is it a visible mark? Like a stamp or something implanted just under our skin? Is it instead people who "do not obey the commandments and laws set forth by GOD" and keep them in their Mind? Does the mark on the hand represent those whose Actions are not faithful to GOD? Or is it a stamp or tatoo of some type visible to our sight?)


Satan's Doom: At the end of our reign of 1,000 years with our King, Christ Jesus, Satan will be loosed upon the earth once again for the final temptation to see who really is faithful to GOD. Satan will be allowed to go out to deceive all nations in the four corners of the earth and will gather his army, which number like the sand on the seashore, for battle. But this is the cool part, GOD is NOT going to let HIS people suffer ever again, GOD destroys all this army with Fire and throws the devil (Satan) into the lake of fire where the Beast and False Prophet already are, and this will be forever and ever. Satan loses!! In the end, GOD reigns fire down upon this great army and then the final judgment of GOD begins. Those whose names are not found in the Book of Life will also be thrown into the lake of fire.

The New Jerusalem comes down out of Heaven, beautiful beyond words, where we will live forever with our King. Amen!

The Final Judgements!! There is no more waiting for our LORD. HE is cleansing the earth now of all those who turned away from HIM and would not repent. Soon it will be done.

Revelation 16: 1-2 "Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, "Go, pour out the seven bowls of GODs wrath on the earth."

The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land, and ugly and painful sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped his image.

Revelation 16: 3 "The second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it turned into blood like that of a dead man, and every living think in the sea died."
(Ok, realistically picture the ocean and how HUGE it really is....now picture how many sea creatures are in it, you know the thousands of different types of fish, squid, octupus, whales, dolphins, sharks, eels, just imagine ALL of these animals dead because the 2nd Bowl of Gods wrath has killed every living thing in the oceans, and the water is now BLOOD. Have you ever smelled a dead animal thats' body is open and decaying and the stench that goes along with it? Well picture that smell a million times worse. Think about the winds blowing that smell inland and of course the sickness that this will carry. Uugg!!!)

Revelation 16:4-6 "The third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood. Then I heard the angel in charge of the waters say: "You are just in these judgments, you who are and who were, the Holy One, because you have so judged; for they have shed the blood of your saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink as they deserve." (Wow, now the last of our water supply is polluted and is blood. No Fresh Water anywhere now.How long do you think you can survive without any fresh water? And in this judgement we have the angel who is in charge of this telling GOD that HE is just in this judgement for those saints and prophets who died for HIM are avenged.)

Revelation 16:8-9 "The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was given power to scorch people with fire. They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of GOD, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify HIM."(Imagine 3rd Degree burns or worse)

Revelation 16:10-11 "The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was plunged into darkness. Men gnawed their tongues in agony and cursed the GOD of Heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done."
(I know once a person accepts the mark of the beast it is too late to repent or to be accepted but this verse mentions "they refused to repent" but is it really too late, even if one person truly realized they were very wrong and accepted GOD would our Lord cleanse him/or her and welcome them? How sad if it really is too late...for their will be millions of people suffering these last Judgements.)

Revelation 16: 12 "The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings of the East."(here starts the setting up and preparation for the Battle of Armageddon. Revelation 16:17-19 "The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne, saying, "It is done!" Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder and a severe earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever occurred since man has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake."(This earthquake splits the city into 3 parts. Every island and mountain are now gone worldwide. Babylon is gone forever too, for GOD gave her the cup filled with the wine of the fury of his wrath. From the sky huge hailstones of about 100 pds each fall upon men. Just think of the hail we get now about golf ball to somewhat bigger...imagine the dents we get on our cars, now picture a 100 pd. hailstone falling from the sky and how much damage it could do.)

Soon our LORD Jesus sets up His kingdom and those of us who have chosen HIM as our king and our savior will get to live with HIM for a peaceful 1,000 years. Oh, imagine the beauty of the home we will live in, the peace, no fighting, no crimes, nothing but love and peace and joy and everyone getting along and living side by side. We will get to see our King daily and worship Him, praise Him, and Love Him. Blessed are those of us who will make it to that day!!!)

The 3rd and final woe of the 7 Trumpet Judgements comes:
Revelation 11:15 "The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever."

(Will we hear these voices? John is saying they are "Loud Voices," so perhaps we will.)
Revelation 11:16 "And the twenty four elders, who were seated on their thrones before GOD, fell on their faces and worshiped GOD."

Revelation 11: 19 "Then God's temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of the covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a great hailstorm."

Another earthquake and a great hailstorm are the 3rd and final Woe upon the earth before the 7 Bowls of GODs wrath are unleashed.

(Has anyone ever wondered why we do not hear GOD actually talk to us like HE did to Abraham and Moses and Noah? HE talked with them just like you and I talk with each other in person today. We actually hear each others words. I've always wondered if GOD stays silent because HE is so very disappointed in us that HE just hurts to much to even find one of us to talk with. Now I know HE sent HIS Holy Spirit to those who are saved and believe in Christ and it is the Spirit who speaks to us inside our hearts and minds but what caused our Lord to no longer communicate verbally with His people. It is something to think about. There are times I so long to hear GOD talk to me verbally, have you wondered and wished this too?)

continuing the 7 Trumpet Judgements and the last three are considered the "Woes."

Revelation 9:1-3 "The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth. the star was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss. When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss. And out of the smoke locusts came down upon the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth.

(The Abyss is more than likely Hell. The locusts, which the dictionary describes as small horned grasshoppers now have the power to sting like a scorpion. Are these real insects, demonic insects or are these the only words John could come up with to describe perhaps something he had never seen before in his lifetime, some future thing that is maybe in our own time now)

Revelation 9:4-6 "They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of GOD on their foreheads. They were not given power to kill them, but only to torture them for five months. And the agony they suffered was like that of the sting of scorpion when it strikes a man. During those days men will seek death, but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them."

(Locusts (grasshoppers) are known to devour vegetation when they swarm, yet this swarm will not hurt any vegetation but only the people who do not bear the seal of GOD on their foreheads. Scorpion stings are known to not only kill a man, as there are 50 species that are deadly to man, but to also cause, respitory, nuerological, and cardivascular collapse)

Revelation 9:7-10 "The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. On their heads they wore something like crowns of gold and their faces resembled human faces. Their hair was like womens hair and their teeth were like lions teeth. They had breastplates like iron and the sound of their wings was like the thundering of many horses and chariots rushing into battle. They had tails and stings like scorpions and in their tails they had power to torment people for five months."
(now notice how John keeps saying "looked like" "something like" "like the thundering" "stings like a," -- this I believe is Johns' way of telling us he didnt know exactly what these "things" were but they "looked" like this. These could be some demonic locusts that have waited centuries just for this time or this description reminds me alot of the military "helicopters" who are made of steel/iron, some have faces painted on their fronts, have camoflauge thrown over them like hair, and their blades when turned on do sound like the thundering of many thousands of horses. They are capable of shooting out missiles which not only kill, but can sting from the burns you can suffer from these things.)

Revelation 9:11-12 "They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon. The first woe is past; two other woes are yet to come."
(the angel here i think is some kind of demon, an angel who left with Satan when he was thrown out of heaven)

Revelation 9:13-16 "The sixth angel sounded his trumpet and I heard a voice coming from the horns of the golden altar that is before GOD. It said to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, "Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates." And the four angels who had been kept ready for this very hour and day and month and year were released to kill a third of mankind. The number of the mounted troops was two million. I heard their number."

(As of June 8, 2008 the population of the earth was at 6,672,775,814 people--six billion six hundred seventy two million seven hundred seventy five thousand eight hundred and fourteen. Now if the angels are given the authority to kill 1/3 of earths population then that is "about" 2 Billion 700 Million people who are going to lose their lives...that is ALOT of people!)

Revelation 9:17-19 "The horses and riders I saw in my vision looked like this: Their breastplates were fiery red, dark blue, and yellow as sulfur. the heads of the horses resembled the heads of lions and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and sulfur. A third of mankind was killed by the three plagues of fire, smoke and sulfur that came out of their mouths. The power of the horses was in their mouths and in their tails; for their tails were like snakes having heads with which they inflict injury."
(this may well be an Army with their war machines, helicopters, tanks, etc. Another 1/3 of mankind is killed, so out of the 4 some Billion people left after the 5th trumpet judgement, another 2 or so Billion are gone now from the 6th trumpet judgement leaving somewhere between 2 to 2 1/2 Billion people on the earth.)

There seems to be a time period between the 6th trumpet judgement and the 7th trumpet judgement because the Two Witnesses now come on the scene and will prophesy for 1,260 Days before they are killed by the Beast and then brought back to life from the Breath of Life of GOD. They are then raised up into Heaven to be with GOD and then the 7th trumpet judgement starts.Revelation 11:13-14 "At that very hour there was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the GOD of heaven. The second woe has passes; the third woe is coming soon.The next lesson we will cover the 3rd Woe-7th Trumpet Judgement for earth.

The 7 Trumpet Judgements

It begins with 7 Angels who have 7 trumpets preparing to sound them. (Rev. 8:6)

This is not the time to keep turning your back away from GOD, for these judgements are considerably far worse than the 7 seal judgements discussed earlier. The devastation coming is nearly unthinkable but it will happen.

I pray that whoever reads Revelations, whether it is your first time or your twentieth time, that you take heed of these prophesies.

These are words given to John to record down for all of us in the future...they are GODs words.

Revelation 8:7 "The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down upon the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up"
(imagine all the green grass burned throughout earth...have you seen a forest fire and the ravaged landscape it leaves behind? 1/3 of all trees gone!! think about all the things we use wood for...homes, furniture, pencils, firewood. 1/3 of our earth burnt...think of how many homeless people we will have then.)

Revelation 8:8 -9 "The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood, a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed."

Revelation 8:10-11 "The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter."

Revelation 8:12 "The fourth angle sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night."
(Can you imagine what farmers would lose if we lost 1/3 of the sunshine needed to grow the crops? There will be even more starving people in the world. Think about the daily Vitamin D you need just from sunshine, not a vitamin supplement.)

The next verse in Revelations Chap. 8, #13 we are told an eagle crys out in a loud voice warning us "Woe! Woe! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other three angels!"

The last 7 Trumpet Judgements will follow in the next lesson, as these last 3 are very detailed in the book of Revelations.

144,000 Sealed Servants of GOD

144,000 Sealed Servants of GOD

I'm going to take you back a little bit again as want to go over the 144,000 that will be sealed between the 6th and 7th Seal Judgements.
We will go back to Genesis in a little bit but first a few facts about the 144,000 who will be sealed as servants of GOD.
In reading Revelations, Chapter 14, I find eight verses about the 144,000.
They stand with Jesus on the Mount of Zion (Rev 14:1)
They have marks upon their foreheads (Rev 14:1)
They understand the heavenly new song (Rev 14:3)
They have kept themselves pure (Rev 14:4)
They follow the Lamb wherever HE goes (Rev 14:4)
They were purchased from among men (Rev 14:4)
They were offered as firstfruits to GOD and the Lamb (Rev 14:4)
They were found to have NO lie in their mouths, blameless (Rev 14:4)

The 144,000 are from the 12 tribes of Israel. They are the chosen ones of GOD. The 12 tribes of Jerusalem begins in the book of Genesis, Chap. 29, Verse 32 where it talks of Jacob's first wife Leah who gives birth to Rueben. Jacob had two wives: Leah and Rachel. It is Rachel that Jacob loves the most even though she is his 2nd wife.
Leah, the 1st wife, birthed Rueben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar and Zebulun
Rachel, the 2nd wife, birthed Joseph and Benjamin
Leah's maidservant Zilpah gave birth to sons of Jacob also: Gad and Asher
Rachel's maidservant Bilhah also birthed sons of Jacob: Dan and Naphtali
These sons are the beginnings of the 12 tribes, though the son, Dan, is replaced by another named Manasseh. 6 of the tribes are Blessed and 6 of the tribes are Cursed.
Those that are Blessed are: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar,Joseph and Benjamin
Those that are Cursed are: Rueben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan and Naphtali
Each were given seperate territories. They consist of the Eastern, Western, Southern and Northern Tribes.
Eastern Tribes are: Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun
Western Tribes are: Ephraim, Manasseh, and Benjamin
Southern Tribes are: Rueben, Simeon and Gad
Northern Tribes are: Dan, Asher, and Naphtali
There are 12,000 chosen from each Tribe to make up the 144,000.
12,000 from the tribe of Judah (this is the line which Jesus comes from)
12,000 from the tribe of Rueben
12,000 from the tribe of Gad
12,000 from the tribe of Asher
12,000 from the tribe of Naphtali
12,000 from the tribe of Manasseh (replaced one of the original sons)
12,000 from the tribe of Simeon
12,000 from the tribe of Levi (this tribe formed the Priesthood)
12,000 from the tribe of Issachar
12,000 from the tribe of Zebulun
12,000 from the tribe of Joseph
12,000 from the tribe of Benjamin
Towards the end of Jacob's life he blesses his sons. (Genesis 49: 1-28)

7 Seal Judgements-continued

Revelation 6:9-10 "When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of GOD and the testimony they had maintained. They called out in a loud voice, "How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?"

Revelation 6:12-14 "I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to the earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place."

These are the 5th and 6th Seal Judgements before the 144,000 are sealed from the 12 Tribes of Israel. (more to come on the 144,000)

The last 2 Seals--the 6th and 7th Seals will be terrible indeed!! The last seal, the 7th seal also opened by Jesus....will bring about the 7 Trumpet Judgements.Revelation 8:1-5 "

When he opened the seventh seal there was silence in Heaven for about half an hour. And I saw the seven angels who stand before GOD, and to them were given seven trumpets. Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar before the throne. The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of the saints, went up before GOD from the angels hand.

Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake.

Notice how there is 30 minutes of silence in Heaven after Jesus opens the 7th Seal. Almost like HE is watching and waiting to see if His children will turn away from their sins and come to Him before HE has to let loose the terrible judgments on mankind for turning their backs on their true and only GOD.

HE is done waiting!!! HE can wait NO more!!! HE gave us thousands and thousands of years and we still denied HIM, and chose to follow the evil one. Our punishment will be harsh, devastating, and if HE did not cut these terrible days short, not one of us would survive.

Isn't it time to start thinking seriously of where your life is leading you, and is God in control? Does he have the steering wheel? Or are you stubborn and hard hearted keeping the control to yourself? Give it up, let go, give it all to Christ, who died for you to save you before it is to late because there will be a period of time when it becomes to late for Christ will close the door on salvation and those that are hard hearted will suffer the ultimate penalty for their sins.

Did you also notice that both the 6th and 7th seals both have Earthquakes in them? And these will be devastating enough that the whole world will know by then that GOD is not happy. It is time to wake up and know that the birthing pains the world is enduring now are minor compared to what is coming.

4 Horsemen of the Apocolypse

Matthew 24:22 "If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened."

Jesus is telling us that the end time days will be cut short so there will be survivors during these horrific times. Imagine the sorrow our heavenly Father must feel for the punishment HE has to deal out to us because we as HIS children have not obeyed and followed the rules. GOD, our father, does not want to lose even ONE of us, but unfortunately, there will be millions lost, whose hearts are so hardened they can no longer even hear GOD, and who are so far gone into satan's grasp that they worship things that the LORD despises.

Revelation 6:2 "I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow and he was given a crown and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.

Revelation 6:3-4 "When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword.

Revelation 6:5 "When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come!" I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand.

Revelation 6:7-8 "When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, "Come!" I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.

These 4 scriptures refer to Horsemen and horses and throughout time this has come to be known as the "4 Horsemen of the Apocolyspe." Notice it is the "Lamb" who is opening each seal--Jesus is the Lamb. Only HE is worthy to open each of these seals.Looking out through history we have reached vast technological, scientific, and medical advances, not to mention the ability to travel great distances in short periods of time, compared to how our ancestors had to travel.

Daniel 12:4 "But you, Daniel, close up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge."Our knowledge has increased enormously in this last century and many do travel alot. Are we nearing the end time? Only GOD knows that date HE has set aside to bring HIS kingdom to earth and for Christ to reign. It is also clear that we are to watch for all the signs that point to HIS second coming.

Though none of us will ever know the exact date, it is best to watch and be prepared.Are you ready? Have you been saved? Do you accept Jesus as the Christ, the Son of GOD, who was born of the virgin Mary, and died on the cross for all of man's sins and transgressions and rose again on the 3rd day?

We have alot of history but I'm not going to go year by year or even century by century but just want to put a little foundation down for some of the stuff that I have learned when studying Revelations to sort of give you a good view of what the world is like thru the centuries.

Now that we've covered some of the earliest part of our history let's bring it forward to more present day and what is happening in the world today.

Matthew 24: 6-8 "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains."We are still in the "birthing pain" mode. This lesson will cover some of our World History and the "birthing pains" leading to the Tribulation.
I am taking you back to just a few years after Christ died on the cross for us to a period known in history as the period of Persecution by Roman Emperors which began in about 64 AD.
This will last until about 312 AD and is during the church era's of Smyrna (2nd church age).
It begins with Nero and ends with Diocletian.

Now for the history lesson: Nero, reigned as Roman Emperor, from about 54 AD to 68 AD. He is known for executing Paul, one of Jesus 12 Disciples and burning Rome, and throwing Christians into pits with wild animals from about 64 to 68 AD.

Domitian, Roman Emperor, from about 90 to 96 AD, is known for exiling the Apostle John to the isle of Patmos in Greece and for killing thousands in Rome.

This next lesson will talk about the church ages, as I think it is important to know a little bit about this before I carry you on into what happens to the earth as we know it.

There are 7 churches in the province of Asia mentioned in Revelations which represent 7 periods of time that give us a view of church history running from Pentecost to what we call the Rapture.

The 1st Church is Ephesus. This period, by most scholars standards, is between 30 AD and 100 AD. Jesus warned them to stop Backsliding in Revelations 2: 4&5
(Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love. Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent, and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.)

The 2nd Church is Smyrna. This period is around 100 AD to 312 AD. Jesus reminds this church HE is the First and the Last, who died and came to life again. This church was persecuted just like Jesus was and tells them that if they overcome they will not be hurt by the second death.

The 3rd Church is Pergamum. This period is around 312 Ad to 590 AD. This church suffered from Compromise because they merged the church with state and allied itself with the world. The city this church was in was basically run by people who worshipped idols and Jesus warns this church if they do not change their evil ways HE will fight them with a spiritual sword but if they overcome he will give them some of the hidden manna.

The 4th Church is Thyatira. This period is around 590 AD to about 1517 AD. It begins by telling us that Jesus eyes are like blazing fire and feet like burnished bronze. His blazing eyes depict his penetrating gaze into this era and HIS very strong displeasure or anger with the "adulterous" church. He also knew of the many who faithfully served with deeds, love, faith, service and perseverance and doing more now than they did at first. Nevertheless, HE is still angry because they tolerate the woman "Jezebel" who misleads many with sexual immorality (enticing GODs people to depart from the faith).

The 5th Church is Sardis. This period is around 1517 AD to about 1750 AD. Jesus tells them they have a reputation for being alive but also says they are dead!!! Tells them to WAKE UP!! and to Strengthen what remains. HE has not found their deeds complete in HIS sight. And warns them HE will come like a thief and they will not know it. This church goes thru the motions but there is no real faith, no one is being saved, or repenting. How sad!!

The 6th Church is Philadelphia. This period is around 1750 AD to about early 1900's though some scholars believe this church period ends as the Rapture or Tribulation begin. This church is what a church should be as it is a working, evangelistic, GOD fearing church, who followed GOD faithfully.

The 7th Church is Laodicia. This period is around the mid 1900's to the Tribulation period. The final church period. We live in this period now. Jesus warns this church they are neither warm or cold but lukewarm and Jesus despises those who and will spit them out of HIS mouth. He also tells them to be earnest and repent for HE stands at the door knocking.

If we are in the last church age, then this should tell us we are getting closer to the Tribulation and the coming of our KING.

Have you noticed the birthing pains are becoming stronger and with more frequency? Much like a woman in labor over the centuries there were "birth pains", but they were slow and infrequent and as we approach the "End Times", have you noticed that these "birthing pains" have intensified not only in frequency but in how "strong" they are and "how long" they last.

We will see many more of these birthing pains as the world turns and I believe that they will keep getting "Stronger", "Harder", and "More Intensifed" bringing about the Tribulation.My next lesson will go over some of these birthing pains with links for you to view some on our world history!

Hi All. I've been studying the book of Revelations now for about a year and half and want to share what I have learned, though in no way am I an expert at this stuff, and any advice is welcome or corrections to what I may have wrong is very welcome.

I feel like I am supposed to be sharing this, especially now, as our world ages another year and I see all the devastation happening around the globe with earthquakes, cyclones, hurricanes, tornadoes, and just the way man and woman are in general in how they treat their fellow brethren.

So I hope you will join me in the study of Revelations and that we may all be blessed by our KING in learning this book.

Here are 7 reasons we should study Revelations:
1)Revelation is the Word of GOD
2)Jesus told us to watch for signs of things to come.
3)If we don't read Revelations we won't understand it.
4)Revelation reveals GODs plan for our future
5)In the bible it tells us "a blessing for those who read it"
6)It will change our lives and how we perceive our future
7)It gives us a concern for those who reject GOD and HIS son, JESUS.

Now I am no scholar or teacher, I dont have that type of degree, but I do feel led by the Spirit to share the words of this book and this chapter known as Revelations. To begin at the beginning all should know that the man who wrote the book of Revelations was John, one of the 12 disciples of Jesus, in about the year 96AD while he was in prison in Patmos Greece.
